Privacy Notice
Last updated: 3 July 2026
This notice explains how SilkBridge Holdings Ltd ("Silk Bridge", "the firm", "we") handles personal data when you visit this website or correspond with us. It is written to reflect the Seychelles Data Protection Act 2023, and — for visitors and clients in the European Economic Area — the rights framework of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This website is a static publication. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and contains no forms. The only personal data we receive through it is what you choose to send us by email.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is SilkBridge Holdings Ltd, 103 Sham Peng Tong Plaza, Victoria, Mahe, Seychelles.
For any matter concerning personal data, write to [email protected]. Privacy correspondence is read and answered by the firm itself, not by an external service.
2. What personal data we collect
Correspondence data: when you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to include in your message.
Technical logs: the infrastructure that serves this website may keep short-lived technical records (such as IP addresses and requested pages) for security and reliability. The firm does not use these records to identify or profile visitors.
We do not collect any other personal data through this website, and we ask you not to send us more information than your enquiry requires.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis
We process correspondence in order to answer you, to take steps you request before entering into an engagement, and to perform an engagement once agreed.
We also process limited data where we have a legitimate interest in keeping orderly business records, protecting the security of our systems, and establishing or defending legal claims — and where the law obliges us to do so.
Where processing ever rests on consent, that consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting what was done before withdrawal.
4. Who may receive your data
The firm does not sell personal data, and does not share it for advertising.
Data is visible to the small number of the firm's people who need it to handle your matter; to providers of email and hosting infrastructure under confidentiality obligations; to professional advisers where a matter requires it; and to public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
5. International transfers
Silk Bridge works worldwide, and correspondence may therefore be read in a country other than the one you write from.
Where data protected by the GDPR is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on recognised safeguards — such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — and limit access to what the matter at hand requires.
6. How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept for as long as the matter it concerns remains open, and thereafter only as long as orderly record-keeping and applicable law require.
When a record is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. Technical logs are retained only for short periods appropriate to security and troubleshooting.
7. Your rights
Under the Seychelles Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, request that inaccurate data be corrected, and request deletion where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you additionally hold the rights provided by the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security
Access to correspondence is limited to those who need it, credentials are managed carefully, and reputable infrastructure providers are used.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure; please weigh this before including sensitive details in a first message.
9. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of any kind — essential or otherwise — and uses no analytics, advertising tags, fingerprinting or other tracking technologies.
Because nothing is stored on your device, no cookie banner or consent mechanism is required. If this ever changes, this notice will be updated first.
10. Questions and complaints
If anything in this notice concerns you, please write to us first at [email protected] so that we can put it right.
You are also entitled to complain to the data protection authority in Seychelles and — if you are in the European Economic Area — to the supervisory authority of your place of residence or work.
